A calm, curved lagoon on the west side of the island, ringed by soft sand and coconut palms. The water is protected by rock walls, so it stays glassy on most evenings, and the walking paths between the lagoons give us lots of spots in a short stroll.
- Best light
Ko Olina faces west, so the hour before sunset is the one to book. The sun drops toward the ocean and everything turns warm and golden.
- Good to know
Public parking is limited and first come, first served, from sunrise to sunset. Plan to arrive a little early.
Weekends near sunset get busy with resort guests, so we'll keep moving to find quiet corners.
- Being a good guest
The lagoons are shared with resort guests and families, so we keep to the quiet corners and leave the beach as we found it.
